Project Description

This project was an extensive remodel of the existing student union building. The project was completed in phases as it had to remain occupied during the total remodel. This took extensive coordination with the owner as many students occupied the building every day. The building received a total new exterior brick veneer with large window walls. The interior was completely remodeled with new finishes in most areas. The building was used to feed the Seattle Seahawks during their week of practice in Spokane.

“Western States Construction and it’s Superintendent, Aaron Trainor, have performed extremely well under these circumstances”… “Washington State University would have no reservation in hiring Western States Construction for another Project.”

  • Jim Boudreau, Construction Engineer, Washington State University

“Overall, we have been very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the facility, and it continues to be a source of pride for our students, faculty and staff. Thank you for all of our efforts to help us achieve this remarkable turnaround.”

“I would not hesitate to recommend Western States Construction to future project owners, and would not object to working with them on future projects at Easter Washington University.”
