Project Description

New construction of a 45,000 sq. ft. pre-engineered metal building with a masonry veneer. This building is being constructed for use as a Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility at Joint Base Lewis-McChord; building features include 12 maintenance bays, offices, weapons vault, shower/locker room, tactical communications equipment, intrusion detection system, overhead crane and three smaller PEMB out-buildings on an 11 acre site. Project work also includes all building finishes, POL system, installation of a new storm water system, all utilities (sewer, water, gas, electricity, fiber optics) and a 9 acre PCC paved parking area.

The project is located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord and has been subject to the strict policies and procedures of the US Corps of Engineers as well as the regulations for Joint Base Lewis-McChord. These include complex and detailed Quality Control, Safety, LEED Silver, Waste Management, SWPPP, ESCP and Environmental Protection Plans as required in the submittal process.
